These lamps look like a low voltage spotlight (also know as a dichroic) and are a capsule with a reflector behind it
There are many different wattage, voltage and base combinations
They usually connect with two pins, it is the distance apart which may help determine the exact lamp you need (eg if the base is GX 5.3 then the pins will be 5.3mm apart)
You must match the voltage and wattage of the lamp you are removing, you cannot change this
If you know or can read the code number of the lamp this makes identification much easier!
